Q. Do I need to obtain a business license?
A. It is generally a good idea depending on the size of your business and income generated from it.
Q. Do I need liability insurance and here can I obtain it?
A. Insurance is optional but recommended. It can be obtained from ...Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. They provide professional insurance. It is a $9 million policy with $1 million per claim. The regular cost is $199 to $229 depending on your hours of training. As a member of EKA you receive a $50 discount. Be sure and tell them you are a member to get your discount. You also receive their magazine and other information.
