Student membership is open to anyone who is in the process of learning Energy Kinesiology as a profession and has less
than 200 hours of educational training. Student members can serve as a Board member of the organization but cannot be an officer.
Students can only use the designation “Student of Energy Kinesiology” when referring to themselves. Students have one vote on items
related to the business of EnKA.
Associate membership is open to anyone who has an interest in the art/science of Energy Kinesiology, and the
functioning of EnKA, but is not a practicing kinesiologist and can refer to him/herself as “Supporter of Energy Kinesiology”.
Associate members can serve as a Board member but cannot be an officer of the organization. Associates have one vote on EnKA business
items.
Organizations teaching and using Energy Kinesiology shall have a total of up to two seats on the Board of Directors,
with voting status for this membership category. Organizational members can only vote for candidates for the Board of Directors that
will be representing the Organization Members.
To qualify for professional membership, an individual must:
- Submit documentation that he or she has attended 200 hours of Kinesiology training, or
- Submit a Certificate of Completion or letter certifying him or her as a private practitioner or teacher from a Kinesiology
Organization that meets the requirements for (OM) Organizational Membership status, whether or not that
Energy Kinesiology organization is a member of EnKA. EnKA will publish a list of approved Kinesiology Organizations.
An additional 30 training hours per year is recommended for all professional members to sustain professional growth.
One-half of the hours attended at kinesiology conferences may be counted toward this requirement.
Professional members may hold any office of the organization and have two votes on each business item.
CERTIFIED ENERGY KINESIOLOGIST LEVEL 1 (CEnK1)
To qualify for Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 1 membership, an individual must have a total of 250 hours total kinesiology content.
Documentation must be submitted showing that the following has been completed:
- 100 hours of Category A courses
- 75 Hours minimum in accredited streams beyond the 100 hours taken in
Category A
- 75 Hours of other Category A, B, or C courses, repeats or conference attendance
- 8 Hours of Ethics Training (Coursework that has been approved by the EnKA)
- First Aid and/or CPR certification
- Clarification is detailed in Appendix 9
Certified Energy Kinesiology Practitioner Level 1 (provides a foundation) in the basic principles of Kinesiology and
demonstrates the beginning of specialization in a preferred Kinesiology stream.)250 kinesiology hours + 8 hours Ethics + First Aid Certification
Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 1 members may hold any office of the organization and have two votes on each business item.
CERTIFIED ENERGY KINESIOLOGIST LEVEL 2 (CEnK2)
To qualify for Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 2 membership, an individual must have a total of 500 hours total kinesiology
content and 220 total hours of additional relevant training. All approved hours of Level 1 apply towards requirements for Level 2. Documentation must
be submitted showing that the following has been completed:
- 100 hours of Category A courses
- 200 Hours minimum in accredited streams beyond the 100 hours taken in Category A
- 200 Hours of other Category A, B, or C courses, repeats or conference attendance
- 8 Hours of Ethics Training (Coursework that has been approved by the EnKA) beyond the 8 hours in Level 1
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Clarification is detailed in Appendix 9
In addition to Kinesiology hours, training in the areas below need to be satisfied to complete Certified
Energy Kinesiologist Level 2:
- Anatomy & Physiology
100 hrs of EnKACAB approved courses
- Nutrition
40 hrs or EnKACAB approved courses
- Communication/Interactions
40 hrs of EnKACAB approved courses
- Business Management
40 hrs of EnKACAB approved courses
Certified Energy Kinesiology Practitioner Level 2 (includes Kinesiology, Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Communication skills, Practice Management and First Aid.)500 kinesiology hours + 220 hours non- kinesiology hours + First Aid Cert.
Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 2 members may hold any office of the organization and have two votes on each business item.
CERTIFIED ENERGY KINESIOLOGIST LEVEL 3 (CEnK3)
To qualify for Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 3 membership, an individual must have a total of 1,000 hours total kinesiology content and 270 total hours of additional relevant training. All approved hours of Level 1 and Level 2 apply
towards requirements for Level 3. Documentation must be submitted showing that the following has been completed:
- 100 hours of Category A courses
- 300 Hours minimum in accredited streams beyond the 100 hours taken in Category A
- 600 Hours of other Category A, B, or C courses, repeats or conference attendance
- 4 Hours of Ethics Training (Coursework that has been approved by the EnKA) beyond the 16
hours included in Level 1 and Level 2
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Clarification is detailed in Appendix 9
In addition to Kinesiology hours, training in the areas below need to be satisfied to complete Certified
Energy Kinesiologist Level 3:
- Anatomy & Physiology
150 hrs of EnKACAB approved courses
- Nutrition
40 hrs or EnKACAB approved courses

Certified Energy Kinesiologist Level 3 members may hold any office of the organization and have two votes on
